This site features National Information on Library Services for Australian citizens. Our libraries across Australia provide several key services that enhance the personal lives and livelihoods of citizens.

LENDING

We lend books and study materials to interested individuals of all ages. We simply ask that books and materials be returned promptly by their due dates so that they may be checked out by other interested patrons. If a book or other material is not returned in a timely fashion, then a small daily fee will be assessed.

CONFERENCE AND MEETING ROOMS

Furthermore, our patrons may schedule time in our libraries’ conference or meeting rooms. This service is offered free of charge and granted as long as there is room available.

INTERNET ACCESS

Another important service our libraries offer is free internet access at most all our library locations. Internet access allows our patrons to complete research and other online projects. This service is especially beneficial to those who do not already own a computer and those who do not have internet access at their residence. We support the Web Accessibility Toolbar and strongly encourage our patrons to use it on a regular basis.

As for National Information on Library Services in Australia, the aforementioned services name and briefly explain just a few. Feel free to call or visit any given library to ask more questions about what services it offers. Our librarians will be happy to help you.
